The first is information you provide directly: when a student creates an account or uses the directory, we may collect a username, email address, school level, and general geographic region. When an organization submits a listing or applies for Brillick Network membership, we collect the organization's name, a point-of-contact email, a description of activities, and any supporting documentation submitted for verification. We do not collect full legal names, home addresses, phone numbers, or financial information from students at any point. The second category is information collected automatically through standard web analytics — including pages visited, time spent on the platform, and general device type — solely for the purpose of improving the functionality and usability of the Brillick Directory and related services. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes, and we do not sell any data to third parties under any circumstances.

Student reviews submitted through the Brillick Directory are published anonymously. We retain the association between a review and the account that submitted it only for the purpose of preventing duplicate submissions and enforcing our Community Guidelines. This association is never made public and is not shared with the organization being reviewed.

We do not share your personal information with external organizations, sponsors, or partners except in the following limited circumstances: where required by applicable Japanese law, where you have given explicit consent, or where disclosure is necessary to investigate a violation of our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines. In such cases, disclosure is limited strictly to what is necessary.

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of any inaccurate information, and to request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Requests may be submitted through our official contact channel. We will process all requests within a reasonable timeframe.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. However, no system is entirely secure, and we encourage users to exercise caution in what personal information they choose to share on any online platform.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically as Brillick grows and our services evolve. We will notify users of material changes through our platform or newsletter. Continued use of Brillick following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
